1 Assessment

When you call Affordable Mobility for the first time we will ask you some questions about your staircase and your situation to help us to understand your personal needs and how we can help you. If you do require more information or would like to arrange a free no obligation quotation, we’ll arrange one of our sales consultants to visit you in the comfort of your home home to give you specific advice.

Typically, we can have an assessor out to you in 1-2 days.

  • First, one of our consultants will speak with you in order to understand which needs and wants you may have.
  • After this they will take measurements of your staircase, assessing the type of rail that will be required and if any preparatory work (for example installing an extra power point) is needed.
  • Now that our consultant has all of the information they need, they will give you some considered options and you are able to choose whichever additional features or upholsteries you might like.
  • After precisely measuring your staircase and visiting you to find the best solution to your situation, our trained consultants are now able to provide you with an accurate and no-obligation quotation. You can then decide – in your own personal time – if you would like to go ahead and make your order. The price that we quote during our quotation will be the price you pay, with no hidden extra fees.

All of our rails and stairlifts are customised to order and are made to the highest quality standards. This makes it take around 3-10 working days to install a straight stairlift and 14 days or so for a curved rail.

We have a range of checks and balances throughout the entire manufacturing process and every single stairlift carriage is tested before leaving our factory. This is to make sure that all of our stairlifts meet our stringent quality criteria.

Our stairlifts and rails are bespoke, being made to the highest standards of quality. This means it will take around 3-10 working days for a straight stairlift to be installed and 14 working days or less for a curved rail.

All our Stairlifts come with 2 years warranty and include 5 years Motor Gearbox Warranty and if you ever want to speak to us, we have a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week customer care team to answer your questions.

When your stairlift has been installed, you’ll soon discover:
